Ashaya Heart Opening: The word 'Ashaya" in Sanskrit, means abode of the heart and this unique method invites students to experience a total mind, body heart adventure both on and off the mat. This alignment-based practice integrates therapeutic yoga techniques with heart opening tantric philosophy. Our mediation traditions awaken the heart and soul, allowing you to feel more confident about your emotions and empathic about others. These mindful movements will bring out the very best in those who allow their hearts to open to grow.
Glow Buti: Are you ready to sweat? Then come join us for Glow Buti! This practice combines jump training, tribal dancing and dynamic yoga asanas into an intense workout. You can expect explosive movements, a quick pace, killer ab sequences, and lots of upbeat music in a black-lit room. YES! Black lights! Wear your favorite white outfit and get ready for this cardio-intensive yoga workout to transform body and soul. Glow accessories and paint available at the desk for $5.
Sacred Moon Flow: Channel your inner goddess into this empowering moon salutation flow! This class is beginner friendly but also suitable for experienced yogis. We will start with gentle stretching and motion through a 60-minute guided flow while synchronizing breaths with movements. Throughout this class we will work on poses that balance the mind, body and soul, leaving you feeling connected to the natural cycle of the moon.
Slow Flow for Core Yoga: Feel strong and empowered with Core yoga. This class is geared to engage your abdominal muscles with core yoga poses to build a strong and stable center. Core strength training, breath work and yogic technique is incorporated into the class to get you that feel-good burn in a calm environment. Building a poised core will provide you with the foundational muscles to advance your yogic practice and better the body.
Warrior Kids for Ages 6-12: Is your child experiencing uncertainty from all of the changes they have been asked to make? This class is structured to empower children and relieve their anxieties about the future. Class will begin with a short yoga flow designed to make your child feel powerful. Following yoga, tapping will be introduced with affirmations. Next, a simple hand sequence that will be easy for them to remember and take anywhere with them to help relieve feelings of uncertainty in the moment. Lastly, your child will be treated to a sound bath with a short meditation that is just perfect for their age. First and Third Tuesday of each month at 3:30 PM
Yin: Explore the series of slow paced meditative postures that is Yin. Each pose employs long holds, reaching deep into the muscle fibres and connective tissue. Embrace this therapeutic style of yoga which harnesses the healing properties of breath work, releasing the tension in your muscle tissue while reducing the effects of anxiety and depression. Relax and unwind in these passive asanas performed on the floor. With continuous practice of yin, you’ll benefit from an increase in range of motion, improve flexibility, and release your lower back , hips and pelvic region from the habitual stress brought upon by modern day living .
