What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga Therapy is for everyone. You do not have to have an injury or a health condition to benefit from seeing a Yoga Therapist.
Yoga Therapists address you as a holistic being; mind, body, & soul. We incorporate all the tools in our toolboxes to guide you into a healthy and fulfilling life.
A few of the things that we may offer you are:
1. Ayurvedic Techniques – An ancient form of medicine which works with the seasons of the year, the seasons of your life, and the season of your whole being.
2. Yoga Techniques – This could include yoga poses and yogic breathing
3. Dietary Techniques – This could include changes such as adding more foods that stoke your “fire”, or foods that “cool” you down. What we put in our mouths affects every cell in our body and either builds a strong and healthy body or builds a body that is susceptible to illness and disease.
4. Sound, Affirmations, Mantras, Essential Oils, and so much more can be incorporated to help you relax and find your direction in life.
5. Chakra Work – we have 7 chakras that begin at the base of our spine and run up to the crown of our head. If your chakras are out of line, then your organs and health can be out of line as well.
